Just a little warning. This is an extreme measure and is meant as a last resort where one is sure  that the HDD is toast and tries to recover bits of data in sort of installments (freezer to-pc-to freezer-to pc....cycles.)

there are procedures to put in freezer and connecting to pc without moisture.

I would suggest you browse the pc build archives for aug/sep. sorry off hand I do not remember the header.
