Hi All,

My friend has a Dell Computer, Pentium and she has lost the sound (PCI Audio).
She has tried to re-install the audio but it keeps saying "Service Profile damaged".

Does anyone have an idea how to correct this problem?

She tried also to restart the computer with win98 cd in drive in the hope that it would be picked up through this but no such luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated
