I have an old vga monitor that came with a Caliber 486sx-25 system someone gave me.The problem is that it only displays for 5 to 10 minutes before the brightness fades. When I got it the brightness slide bar was set to max. I ran norton diagnostics and it determined that the color red was bad.Is there anything I can do(dont worry, I'm not going to open the monitor)or should I just lay this thing to rest? Thanks for any replies.
