Hi Folks:

I am working on a machine (Duron 800, 128M ram, Abit KT7-E mobo, Sony supressa
160e CD-RW) It suddenly started giving the Error message "E8000
4005:unspecified error" . Which at the roxio site says means it needs new
firmware. The latest update has been on it for months. so I'm stuck, or is
there a possibility the drives at fault. It has no problem recording Data or
reading anything, or playing music for that matter. Anyone come up against this
before, also reinstalled CD creator a few times , didn't help.
