While this isn't about a website, I will toss in my half cent about
Heathkit study materials for the A+ Cert test. I ordered these materials
several months back, eight months?, at any rate, the package came with
several books including:
Upgrading and Repairing PCs
Using Microsoft Windows 95
Easy Laser Printer Maintenance and Repair
DOS 6.22
Win 3.11
How Computers Work
and a couple others.

This also came with a cd rom that has a multitude of questions broken
down into two sections Win/DOS and Core, which are further broken down
into subsections like Safety, Maintenance, Customer Satisfaction (though
that part doesn't necessarily count against you point wise during the
exam), Troubleshooting, Printers, Networks, and others.

There are tons of practice questions which when given an incorrect answer
will either give you a brief explanation and suggestions where to read,
or just the sections to read to learn more.

Overall this, in my opinion, was such a super package. I specifically
wanted a study course that had books with it instead of just the cd rom
so that helped narrow my search quite a bit. The books have an abundance
of information and are written well and should be of use for many years
to come, but may be an overload of information for you at the moment, it
was for me. I believe I paid approximately $500 for the kit and it came
with a voucher good for taking the Core and Win/DOS parts of the exam
back to back in a single seating. I just passed the A+ Exams Friday and
really believe that I could not have done it without the Heathkit setup.

There are several, several kits, cd's, books, etc out there all promising
you to pass but from what I've heard, you need to be very careful when
choosing. There are several very reputable companies but also quite a
few underhanded ones with cd's full of questions that really won't help
you prepare.

Good Luck in finding what you want.
