The problem is not in the formatting the compressed drive (any
FDISK+Format will do), but in saving info from compressed drive!
You should be known that before decompression, the disk should had
free space for decompressing. Note that drvspace/doublespace are the
DOS utilities and couldn't work in windows mode(you only could start
these progs in win mode). Though the process started and there no way
to go back? Try to see the log files and clear out the root of the
problem. Once started, these progs will do theirs job to the END (even
if you turn off the PC during the process). The only reason they
couldn't finish the job is the disk space shortage for decompressing.
If you want to save some files from this hdd, you can use any system
floppy (win95/98)with drvspace/doublespace drivers on it.
