Hi,
this might help you. I was having a similar problem recently regarding
partitions which wouldn't delete, and so I downloaded Delpart from the net,
which allowed me to delete the offending partitions from within windows.(I
had no idea what the partitions were, as it was a second hand hdd, but the
usual FDISK on the win98 disk would not delete them.)
