Within the last 6-10 months, I've acquired three different lsptops
that came with SSDs as their primary storage -- which I have outgrown:

1. Asus Eebook X205T This has 20GB of storage; the case is small
enough and thin enough to make me wonder if it's a "real" SSD, or
actually something like a microSD card inside the case...

HP Stream X360 This is one of those laptops whoae screen folds
all the way over backwards to be used as a tablet.. A sticker next to
the keyboard proclaims "Free upgrade to Windows 10 when available", but
it turns out there isn't enough storage in the computer to actually
INSTALL that update... Nice and light, with a 64-bit CPU -- what a
pity.

MacBook Pro The "Macintosh HD" volume is a partition occupying
the internal 250GB SSD, which gives me daily warnings about being nearly
full. I got a sweet Black Friday deal on a 500GB SSD, but research
online suggest that the MacBook Pro is picky about which SSDs it will
play with, and I don't know whether it will accept what I've got or not.
And I won't worry about how to crack it open until I've cloned the
internal drive to the new one...
I wish system makers who pt for SSDs would go big rather than cheap!
