Hello Ultra et al.,

Several weeks ago Intel's soon-to-be-released Solano chipset was the topic of a thread we had going here at PCBuild.  With its support for the 133 MHz FSB utilizing PC133 SDRAM, motherboards based on this chipset look like they'll be in the 'absolutely must have' category for those of us looking for top-notch performance and value in our next system buy, build or upgrade.

Tom's Hardware published a comprehensive review of Solano a few days ago while PC Scoop released some specifications on the i815 and i815e motherboards.  Read what they have to say and get ready to order.
