I have an HP Pavilion dv2125 notebook pc running Windows XP SP2 with an AMD
Turion 64x2, 1.6 GHz, 1 gig RAM, NVidia GeForce 6150 graphics. It's been
getting slower and slower. I have Diskeeper and it showed that the "F"
drive was horribly fragmented and could affect the system performance. I
have tried and tried to defragment it and it still shows it is dangerously
fragmented, still with 425 fragmented files. And the system performance is
still getting worse. I don't know what the F drive is used for or why there
is so much in it that is fragmented. But that's the only thing I can figure
out that is hurting performance. I do all the maintenance things regularly,
but apparently they only take care of the C drive?

What is this drive and how do I clean it up? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Pam
