Hi,

Isn't the Canon C5000 a multi fuction Printer?

I have the Canon L6000 which is and it needs the Multi-pass program running
to work properly.  When his system boots up does it find the printer okay or
is he getting error messages when hooked up to the auto switch?

There may be an additional step or two needed if it is a multifuction type
device
