A number of people have told me that you can use both a Hercules
monochrome and a VGA card together, since they use different addresses.
I haven't done it myself, but my understanding is that this has been
around for a long time and is still in use by a number of people.
It has been mentioned recently in both the SURVPC and the ARACHNE lists.
Somehow text gets sent to the Hercules display and graphics to the VGA
display from the same box. How it is set up and what limitations this
setup has I don't know.
This would be a low-end solution, of course.

End
Peace
