Are you in or close to a major city? for example i live right outside of
boston i can even see a boston landmark from my driveway, but i will not use
a boston number as you can never get thru, i use cambridge,newton, and
waltham  suburbs of boston and i usually sign on first attempt. also don't
forget, there are 17 million+ of us on aol, during busy periods you may have
to deal with a slow connection
