How is it that you were able to fdisk & format if you aren't able to get it
to an
A prompt?  Check your bios to make sure your boot sequence includes your A
drive.
Also to find out if your Windows 98 boot disk is working ok, check it on the
machine
you created it on...reboot and see if it works.
