I did not "get to the point" too well with the original question... Sorry.

Does anyone using an add-in "paddle card" for two extra IDE ports
have any "tips" of "do's and don'ts" or bad experiences.
This card that "allows" me (with MB) a _total_ of 8 IDE devices on system.

I have "too many" small hard drive(s), CD-ROM(s), CD-RW(s), LS-120(s),
parallel ZIP(s), "maybe" an IDE ZIP (since I have the ports now), and
possibly? a DVD sometime... The card (and system) are only ATA33.
The processor "may" never go over 500m...

This will also be a "test" machine for hardware and software, so I have to
know what I am getting into hardware stability wise... (I change to new
cables a lot...) Thanks in advance. Rick
