Another big grudge I have on SoftSwitch [BX6 REV 2] is that sometimes
the system hangs so bad that pressing power switch does nothing...
then I have to reach for a plug. No problems with shutdown or
powerup [mouse double-clk] though. (Question : is there any way to
fix this?)

Maybe, you should dig and search for ACPI management, etc., in BIOS
anything even remotely related to power management that is wrongly
set could be causing your problems.

There isn't [?] an option to power-on your PC automatically, at
least at BX6, as I know. [There IS an option to power-on at certain
time, by the way].
