In response to the posts to my problem regarding my inabililty to get connected
to my ISP with my PC on a separate phone line while my wife's PC is turned on, I
have checked her PC and note she does not have any fax or other similar software
waiting for calls.  I have recieved a post suggesting I use but one line, and
attach a splitter to it, and then run a line to each computer.  I will try that
in the next few days.  I will post a resolution to this problem once it
manifests itself.  Thanks for your valuable suggestions so far.
