The other working drive is configured exactly like this drive, on the floppy cable, and is runninng on Win98SE using Seagate Backup Program. The only difference is that it is on an IBM and this one is on a Trigem. I had sent some more info(but had missed the send orginal message...sorry) that the floppy drive works fine. Also the mechanical(movement) controls are working. TriGem had said that there are no updates to this machine.
