Just as a clarification to yesterday's post the product that I am
talking about is an official product as it came direct to them via OEM
means.  I believe it IS known around the traps as OSR 2.5 but if you
look closely at system information it returns version 4.00.950 C build
1111.  It is the release that contains the web browser active desktop
feature and is the final packaged release before Win98 comes out next
month.

I hope this clarifies the situation.
