I'm writing this down from memory, and I don't have a Win95 PC handy, so my
apologies if the sequence I lay down is incorrect.

In Control Panel, run the System icon. One of the available choices (tabs?)
should be Hardware Profiles. If your setup is like most, there should be only
profile listed. Make a copy of it, calling it whatever you want.

Reboot the PC. When Win95 starts, it'll ask you which profile to use. Choose
neither. After that, Win95 rediscovers everything about your PC - mobo, CPU,
drives, cards, etc.

Hope this helps.
