   That is a good tool. Also take a look at Seagate's Seatools Disc

   It is a self-booting floppy and will quickly detect errors in Seagate
as well as other drives (pick the Generic Drives option). It saved me a
lot of time this weekend on a Packard Bell (Connor drive).
