As noted in other replies to your question, this is a difficult question to
answer without knowing more about your setup -- particularly the OS version,
the brand/model number of your CDRW, and which boot disk from what web site.

My suspicion is that you're running an older version of Windows, in which case
it's possible that your boot disk does not contain an appropriate DOS driver
for the new CDRW drive. Have you checked the drive manufacturer's web site?
You might also spend some time poking around the CDROM that accompanied the
CDRW -- you may find an appropriate DOS driver there.
