At this point in time I agree with your suggestion. Lay it to rest.

At this point in time, I have to assume this is a 14" monitor at best.
By today's standards this is equivalent to a horse and buggy. Not that
there is anything wrong with that mode of transportation.

You can go online to http://www.pricewatch.com or, http://www.price.com
and you can even pick up a reasonably priced reconditioned monitor from
Viewsonic at, http://www.viewsonicoutlet.com/. You may or may not trust
reconditioned products but being in the industry I find that there is
nothing wrong with reconditioned. Why reconditioned? Once a product has
been opened and used even slightly it can't be resold as new. The
consumer who is shrewd can pick up on some nice deals that way.

Several of my clients that operate by the bottom line had no complaints.
Do yourself a favor and shop for a 17" monitor. <smile> You will like it
so much you will want to upgrade your whole system. Hey, that's just the
way it works.
