I had a PA2007 that recently died after 16 months. I was running a Cyrix
686L- PR200 in it . The settings for this chip are Dual voltage....2X
frequency....75 MHz Buss speed. This 200 chip runs at 150Mhz but
performs like a Pentium Classic 200 which is why Cyrix calls it a PR200
which means Pentium Rated at 200.

The vendor still had a few 2007s around so he exchanged it for another
revision 1.2. The exchanged board has the 1.12cd13 Bios in it..which is
newer then the one I had.

I have two problems with this board.

I am getting this POST message at the end of the post immediately prior to
booting.

Does anybody recognize this message ?

I can not achieve a 75 Mhz buss speed. Consequently I can only run the
Cyrix 200 chip as a 166... The Cyrix 686L PR166 runs at 133Mhz....2X 66. If
I set the BUS to 75 Mhz ...nothing changes ...I am still running at 2 X 166
instead of 2X 75.

I know that when these boards first came out FIC supported the 75 Mhz Buss
but then stopped < officially > supporting it...because if was being used
extensivily to overclock......however the jumpers were still there and the
board could be set to 75 MHz.

Does any one know if they eventually disabled 75 Mhz capability ?

Or did they change the jumpers...my old manual shows 75 Mhz by setting
Clock one on 1-2...Clock 2 on 2-3 and Clock 3 on 1-2 ...Did these change in
later boards ?

Thanks for the help
