Can someone tell me how backward compatible, if at all, the new DVD and
DVD-II drives are with plain old CD ROMs?

If I am in the market for a new system, and it comes with a DVD or DVD-II
drive, will all of my installations CD's for dozens of programs be
obsolete, or will they still work?

Or worse, will my teenage daughters no longer be able to listen to Back
Street Boys audio CD's?

Thanks in advance.

Michael
