Depending on precisely how you're doing it, it's probably due to a sticky 
key on your keyboard.

For a workaround, try right dragging and dropping them (move) onto the 
Recycle Bin icon. Another alternative is to put Recycle Bin into your 
SendTo menu, then right click each pic/ SendTo /Recycle Bin.
