There is nothing wrong with that...but the 100 bus will only operate at
the speed of the CD & that goes for other devices on that same bus....In
the future you need motherboards with you 100bus & reg bus for your
other hardware...

We were assembling some PCs and realized that the Mobo came with only
one
IDE cable, ATA 100. As we had to install a CD drver we put the HDD as
MAster
and the CD driver as slave in the same ATA 100 bus.
Anything wrong with it?
