Gus,
May be you have set your dial up to use ISDN line.ISDN is the abbr. of
Integrated Services Digital Network. An ISDN line must be installed by the
phone company at both the calling site and the called site. Make sure that
you have ISDN Devices on your Network.
To make a dial-up connection by using an ISDN line do the followings:(WinXP
Pro)

Open Network connections
Under Network Tasks, click Create a new connection-->Next.
Click Connect to the Internet-->Next.
Click Set up my connection manually-->Next.
Click Connect using a dial-up modem-->Next, and then follow the instructions
in the New Connection Wizard.
Have a nice day.

Subject: [PCBUILD] What does message mean?

> When I boot up my computer I receive the message, "No ISDN Devices were
found. Please install an ISDN Device and run the configuration wizard
again." I just click ok and everything seems to run fine. What does this
message mean (what is an ISDN Device and what is its purpose) and do I need
to install an ISDN Device and where would I find one. Thanks.
