Hey PCBuilders,

A friend of mine(at his work) recently purchased 3
DELL computers. Two worked fine right
out of the box. The third unit booted to safe mode the
first time. Re
booted and got this message " EMM386 Not
installed-unable to set page
frame base address." After (takes longer than I think
it should)the
computer boots everthing seems to work all right.
Checked and EMM386
is loaded. Ran Dell diagnostic and found no problems.
We are going to return unit unless I can fix it.
Pleaseeeeeee, any
advice?
