Where does Atkins contradict this? Atkins places no upper limit on
carbohydrate intake, save what the individual discovers through the
PROCESS of the three stages of his diet plan. The only number he imposes
is the 20 gram level for induction. After that, the only limit to carbs
is that person's actual results... they add carbs until they stop losing,
then reduce them a bit, and continue to goal . Once the goal level is
reached, assuming that loss is continuing, then carbs are increased still
further to the point where weight is neither gained nor lost.

The 100 gram figure comes from "The Ketogenic Diet: A Complete Guide for
the Dieter and Practitioner" by Lyle McDonald, 1999. Paperback edition
published by Morris Publishing; ISBN: 0-967-14560-0. All of his
information is heavily referenced.

Oh dear... you're one of THOSE... see your argument failing, and turn
the debate to the "style" of your opponent... Sorry sweetie, no sale...
I have been nothing but civil to you, and I have provided nothing but
substantial replies and facts in answer to your misinformation. If you
feel insulted, turn your anger towards those who filled your head with
the nonsense you've been spreading about low carbohydrate diets. You
were wrong, and I'm just the messenger...
