I'm sorry. We talked so much about this.
W-3's (polyunsaturated fats of type omega 3)
are often explained since years here on the list.
Its a kind of vitamin - a essential stuff in food which *has*
to come from food. The need is just so big that the vitamin
definition is violated for some. But essential.
Please look at the paleofood archives with keywords w-3 or omega
(or eicosanoids).

The rest are personal impressions from readings,
which and how hormones and similar body fluids are incfuenced,
