Ask a pharmacist just to make sure, unless someone else here
remembers...............  a saline solution can be made out of salt
tablets bought at the pharmacy/drug store. mixed with distilled water,
then stored in a sterile jar or bottle.  I used to make my own
solution
when I wore contacts.  It's basically eye contact solution.
