Chinese is certainly not out !   Just don't eat the rice or noodles.

Otherwise, you can get meat stir-fried with vegetables.

Of course, this implies that you are not fanatical, as they do use some
cornstarch in the sauce.

Italian restaurants have Antipasto, meat, fish, etc. - just avoid the pasta, of
course.

Mexican is slightly more difficult, but they usually have a nice bowl of Chile
Colorado - which Mexican style doesn't even have beans.

At Indian restaurants, avoid the bread, rice or potatoes.

In GENERAL, you simply avoid the stereotypical foods, ie no "Chow Mein",
"Burritos", "Pasta", etc.
