Yea certainly. This is the paleo approach.

It is impossible to get a personal experience, because one can not
both taka aspirin and not, to be able to compare at the same time,
same sickness. Next time one is ill other circumstances are around.
Such things can only be found out as a statisitic thing
involving lots of people.

Theoretically, as we have fever to overheat bacteria/virus etc and
thus kill them (we stand fever better than they do), recovery will
be slower with no fever, and aspirin lowers fever.

Feeling awful is Your bodys signal that it needs rest. Head on pillow
nothing else. Evolution has shaped us that way.
