Dear Richard,
You're absolutely right not just about diabetes but also about ADHD. There
is an epidemic of ADD/ADHD in the schools and I'm willing to bet 90% would
be eliminated thru lo carb diets. But, have you seen what kids are eating
these days? And, can you even believe it??
Lo carb is working on my son's so called autism (an extreme case of
attention deficit) but danged if I can figure out what is causing these
emotional earthquakes..
If I go back to carbs, he will be in a better mood, but out of it
mentally...I'm almost ready for that, the outbursts are so stressful. Could
this be an extreme case of carb withdrawal, I wonder..
I got myself off coffee and onto black tea. When I tried to get off black
tea, I had similar withdrawal/teary attacks, so needless to say, I'm still
on black (Irish) tea.
