You'd think Colin Campbell would have better things to do with his time. Perhaps he could do more research into his crackpot theory about how a vegan diet is right for everyone. <eyeroll> I marked some of the reviews "unhelpful"

I've read bits of the book, and honestly, it looks quite good, except for allowing tofu and other soy products. It emphasizes green vegetables even more strongly than the 2002 book, and I suspect that recommendation of 2 salads and one cup of other colorful vegetables is more vegetables than the vast majority of Americans eat. Somehow, banning fruit for a couple of weeks is dangerous? I guess they just didn't read it. Even the 1972 books recommends two green salads a day.

The 2010 book recommends 12-15g of net carbs via "foundation vegetables" which they say equates to six cups of salad and two cups of cooked veggies (roughly). How many *vegans* even eat that many vegetables? My vegetarian hubby enjoys salads, but he eats maybe two cups a day.
