Many have emailed me to ask about the book I mentioned. It is called THE
NORTHWEST COAST by James G. Swan. Skip the introduction which is "modern"
and go on to the good stuff written by this man, JG Swan,  who ate the
Hunter Gatherer's food, written in 1852.

This tells many details about  food of the Hunter Gatherers living along the
Columbia River and along the Coast of Washington State. Absolutely fascinating.
