Very funny reading. This one is a bit off though. Jim Fixx had the same
congenital heart ailment that killed his father in his mid thirties.
Fixx turned to running in an attempt to beat it. He outlived his father
by twenty years. Not too bad. I haven't read the book. What was his
diet advice, if any? That era runners were really big into
carbo-loading.
