Marrow is quite a bit different than flesh. He might not have any problem
with it. I never had pork marrow.

You can eat it raw or cook it (it melts, mostly). Beef marrow is of
variable texture. Sometimes it is as soft a warm butter, more likely as
hard as cheese. I eat marrow raw with lean meat. If I get some fatty meat I
don't bother with marrow; if the meat is lean I eat marrow with it.
