A friend of mine (recovering vegetarian) is attempting Neanderthin but
refuses to give up powdered green drinks (ie Kyo-Green, Greens-+, etc.)
which contain young sprouted grasses from wheat and barley as well as dried
kelp and chlorella. I believe that these drinks are definitely not paleo.
My friend argues that grasses could be eaten raw and therefore are ok. To
my knowledge, humans do not normally eat grass. Any thoughts would be most
appreciated.
