Hello Dr. Bernarr

You asked for details, so:

Name: William Schnell

Double vision, and can't focus properly.

I am 71 years old, white male, severely myopic (wore glasses since 8
years old), 6 feet tall (used to be 6' 1½") about 180 pounds (have not
weighed myself for years).
Born 27 October 1937 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Mother said I was a weak
baby, would not have lived except breast fed.
Had few childhood ailments, had albumin in the urine when 17.
Beginning in my thirties: I had flu twice. No med for that. Acute
appendicitis 1966, surgery. sinus headaches, followed by migraines over
the years (cluster form).
In July 1995 while at the BMW National motorcycle rally in Durango
Colorado I had the first paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. I had
volunteered for registration; crowd of thousands, temperature 105 every
day high stress. I don't like crowds.
When I got home to Saskatchewan the doctor opined atrial fibrillation,
and prescribed nothing.

Paroxysms increased in frequency, that doc left town 3 years later and
the next one sent me to a specialist in internal medicine who had me
wear a Holter monitor, when he got the results back he said it looked
like paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, and, in his words "Any one
of these can kill you".

I spent the next few years looking for competent and wise medical
advice; didn't find it, except at the clinic at Bastyr University in
Seattle the supervising N.D. noticed dangerously high iron in the blood.
Had blood drawn several times until I had terrifying breathlessness. The
blood iron was then mid-range so the M.D. stipped the draws, and advised
to check level every year. It didn't change over the next few years.

Experimented with diet, and discovered the paleolithic diet before I
ever heard of it, then got a computer and went much further so that I
now have learned to eat all raw. I never liked the taste of raw meat,
even after years, then found that jerky is delicious, and adding tallow
to make it into pemmican suits my taste.
I have been adding either raw liver (browned for 4 seconds in pan) or
oysters for the sake of the minerals. About once a week my own homemade
sauerkraut or wild blue berries.

Two days after returning home from the annual Christmas feast with
family to my small old poorly built and heated log cabin the forest
(summer cottage country) of W. Quebec I suddenly began to see double.
Had to crawl on hands an knees. A little better now, but eyes still
won't scan sideways enough, so very hard to read.
Lower left lip is weak, happened about same time I guess, didn't really
notice until later.

Been getting headaches which I suppressed once with organic coffee;
after sleep my eyes ache sometimes.

I will resume the water fast.

Thanks for your advice; no matter how wise the word on your website, it
helps to hear it.

Regards,

William Schnell
