In a Stockolm newspaper today there was a column about this (for entertainment)
The calculation ended in that a normal person has 10 kg of body fat. This is
enough for 400 intercourses. One intercourse takes the energy 1 Mj (1000000
joule). Daily food intake is 10 Mj. Just staying alive take 8 Mj day, and then
doing things take extra. A normal scientist needs 2 Mj/day for his thinking
and keying the computer.
