>Paleo should not just be about not eating grains beans and dairy. It
should
also be about not eating preservatives, additives, flavour enhancers,
pesticides etc - cause lets face it even the human race a hundred years ago
were not eating them - and hence why the disease states have continued to
multiply a hundred fold. . And interestingly enough most supplements are
loaded with all these modern preservatives, mixers and fillers, and shiny
coats etc to make them slide down more easily. None of it adds up to any
good
in the long run.

I do agree that it would be wonderful if we could all be eating
unadulterated foodstuffs.

But what about people like me who are so poor that we can't afford to buy
organic food?

I've only been eating paleofoods for a few weeks now, but the benefits are
already substantial.

I admit that I *would* buy organic if I could afford to, but I can't be
bothered to get myself stressed about what's in my food any more. I did
that for many years and it just made me suffer from needless anxiety. Now
I'm of the opinion that our bodies can deal with small quantities of
additives etc.

Maybe further down the line I'll suffer for it, but I believe that eating
paleo offers enormous benefits, even if I have to eat meat, fish, fruits,
veg and nuts contaminated with man-made chemical additives.

I am *so* much happier since I learned to stop worrying about things I
cannot change ;-)

Cheers,

Persephone
