I dehydrate lots of game (elk) meat that I buy ground. From september
to january it is fresh, the rest of the year it has been frozen apart
from occasional road kills. I have had no problems with parasites
during the two years I have been eating this (around 2-3 kilos / week)

I dehydrate at 28-32 degrees (C) to be as cautious as possible with
the meat.
