Hello! I'm new to a paleo diet. I tried the low fat thing countless times.
I "did" LC for a while (quite successfully) last year. However, I let
life's stresses provide my excuse to cheat occassionaly which quickly led to
the same old poor eating habits.

One of the things that bothered me while I did LC was the heavy emphasis on
dairy and how many LCers used "fake foods". There seemed to be a lack of
whole foods and even a competition regarding who could eat the least amount
of carbs or veggies. The counting, for me, only served to make me think
about food way too much.

Wow! I didn't meant to be so negative!

Anyway, I returned to LC knowing it would work for me weight and health
wise. My plan was to do it cleanly. A week into an Atkins induction, I
read Neanderthin!

YAY! It made so much intuitive sense to me.

I have lots of weight to lose, habits to break and food addictions (sugar,
for example) to stop.

Thanks for reading!
