I do have a question for the list, though -- my skin is NOT HAPPY! My pores
seem enormous and my skin texture is rougher than normal since eating all this
meat. My diet was mainly fish-based before this experiment. Anyone have
similar experiences or a suggestion?

Holly

Holly-- you may have needed the fish oils. I have been on a low-carb diet(pretty
paleo, though not strictly paleo) for several months, prior to that had some
pretty bad acne breakouts (hormonal related, I'm sure)-- and I'm way past the
teenage acne phase (age 35). My skin improved somewhat just on low-carb, but I
started taking cod liver oil supplements, and now my skin has totally cleared up.
Baby smooth. The Omega 3 fatty acids seemed to help my skin. Maybe when you
stopped eating as much fish, your skin rebelled.
