reflux esophagitis is heartburn caused when there is a bit too much stomach
acid sloshing its way up and out of the stomach to the lower end of the
esophagus [which connects the mouth to the stomach]. The common abbreviation
is GERD for gastrointesitinal reflux disease. The low carb aspect of paleo
should be helpful, as would avoiding fruits & other carbs before bedtime.
