My dog (70 Lb Saluki) eats raw beefheart (99 cents a Lb.) beef kidney
(59cents per Lb.)lean ground beef (when on sale) raw beef bones, and raw
chicken scraps (necks, heads, hearts etc. from the processing plant). She
normally gets about 1.25 Lbs. per day. She also shamelessly begs for table
scraps and will eat anything offered.

My hawk catches her own food which I occasionally supplement with fresh,
clean road killed squirrel or rabbit. I hate to waste good meat and my wife
won't eat roadkill ;).
