Add papaya and avocado and many other lessor known tropical fruits...

Very few fruits of commerce originate in Africa. Most of the great ones are
from southeast asia (durian, champedak, marang, mangosteen, etc.). I guess
I figure if the food was good enough for other primates it ain't gonna do
much damage to us. (I also kinda hold out for a southeast asian bottle neck
in modern human evolution precisely because the southeast asian fruits are
so luscious. Just for fun, you know? Kinda like the aquatic ape theory is
fun. ;))

If one excludes new world and Asian food stuffs, and then excludes
domesticated animals (esp those grown by modern methods) and domesticated
plants from a paleodiet, it seems one will end up on a breatharian
paleo-diet ;) But such extreme limiters are good theoretically, no? :^) If
someone isn't getting the promised results on a paleo-diet, there is always
a stricter version which will hold out the hope of Perfect Health after all
;)

Cheers,
Kirt
