Due to a family member's liver problem, I have done many many hours of research
on this, and find that virtually all recommendations about diet and liver are
based on seventy-fifth-hand hearsay.

Many of that hearsay is actually originally based on the false low-fat
theories.

PS  Having said that, the post by Rob Bartlett sounds at least plausible.
